About The School
Administration
Rebecca (Becky) Meininger is the Executive Director of The Brookwood School. She
graduated from Corning East High School in 2005. Received her B.S. in Biology in 2014
from SUNY Oneonta after attending State Community Colleges to earn other Associate
degrees. She has lived in Otsego County since 2011 and is currently raising her family
in Richfield Springs with her Husband, Tomm.
Since 2018, their children have attended The Brookwood School since infancy. In
2021 Becky joined The Brookwood School and has been a Lead Teacher in the Toddler
Department, where she received her Child Development Associate in 2023.
Becky enjoys keeping busy with her family, fishing, boating, and carting kids to sports
practices. She looks forward to helping other families in our area grow and thrive here
at The Brookwood School.
Martha Brennan is the Administrative Assistant at Brookwood. She holds an A.A.S degree in Science from North Country Community College. Martha was an aide in Special Education for 7 years, as well as, an Administrative Assistant for a medical office for 10 years. Martha had four grown children and raised them in the Saratoga Springs area. She currently lives in Edmeston and enjoys gardening, skiing, foraging, hiking or anything outdoors in her spare time.
Shalyn (Shay) Tilley is the deputy director at The Brookwood School. She graduated from Laurens Central School in 2014. She then continued her education on at Cazenovia College, where she earned her B.A. in Biology in 2018. She joined The Brookwood School in 2021 as a toddler teacher. She transitioned to a lead preschool position in October of 2023 and remains in the preschool department today while also serving in the role of deputy director. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her cat Edgar.
