Parent Involvement

The parent body at the school is active and involved, making contributions on every level, from offering their talents and services in the class room, fundraising, and student recruitment. Our families seek a school environment in which their children are nurtured, where creativity is encouraged, and where parent suggestions are valued.

In 2004, a group of parents started the Brookwood Advisory Group, now called the Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO), whose purpose is to provide assistance in the following areas:

• increase parent involvement in and understanding of Brookwood
• improve communications
• improve Brookwood's financial stability
• organize volunteer activities

The PTO has been meeting once a month at the school. For information on the latest meeting and how to get involved, please e-mail us.
