Student Conduct, Values, and Grades
Conduct
Students are expected to respect persons and their property at all times. Students who steal or deface the property of others, or who intimidate or otherwise violate the rights of others are pit on notice. Subsequent offenses can result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion.
Values
In classroom discussions and through modeling of the faculty,
students are encouraged to accept responsibility for their
actions, respect each others' personal beliefs and values and
respect the dignity of every individual. When necessary,
teachers apply creative problem solving and conflict resolution
to help students take greater personal responsibility and become
better able to communicate their thoughts and feelings.
Grades
The school currently issues report cards two times a year,
followed up by individual conferences. Parents are encouraged to
meet individually with teachers, both formally and informally.
