6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Holidays
The Brookwood School is closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- Staff Development Days (October & March)
Closings
The Brookwood School does not close for snow unless a state of emergency is declared. Listen to local radio stations (FM 103.1 and 103.9) for notice of cancellation.
Arrival and Pickup at The Brookwood School
An adult must accompany all children into the building. When you register your child, you will be given a unique four digit code for each adult authorized to pick up your child(ren). This code is used to sign your child in and out at the computers in the front lobby of the school. Children may not leave the building unattended and may ONLY leave with an authorized pick-up person. Please notify the program staff in writing at any time if you would like to add or remove someone from your pickup list.
School Bus
The drop-off and pickup zone in front of the school must be kept clear for buses between 3:15 am and 3:45 am and in the afternoon between 2:10 pm and 2:30 pm. If you arrive to pick up or drop off your child during these times please park in the parking or the grassy area behind it. Remember that it is illegal to pass a parked bus.
Special Circumstances at Home
Sometimes special events at home arise that may have an effect on children. Please help us by making the child's teacher or Director aware if events such as the following occur:
- A family illness
- A parent away for an extended time
- A death in the family
- A visiting relative
- A marital separation or divorce
- Acquisition, death, or illness of a pet
- Anything else you deem important
